But it's almost 2014 and I think virtual synths are reaching new heights. But I'm a greedy bastard who constantly wants more. moved on to Logic, tried out synth after synth (the most depressing was the poor emulation of the minimoog by uly a waste.). I was once using Reason synths back in the early 2000s exclusively. And u-he's synths are really making me rethink the quality of virtual synths. Now, I'm wondering if any of you have found a comparable virtual synth? I'm so satisfied with Zebra 2 and Diva I could be very happy with just these two for like a year or more of intense use. I'd still like the virus but its less of a priority now. I was very close to spending some big money on an Access Virus but I'm pretty happy I went this route instead. I gotta say, it was convincing to say the least. I mean, my Moog synth was sitting right next to me powered on, and when I loaded up that Moog preset in Diva, for a short second I had to double check it was really the Diva being played & not the Sub Phatty. I couldn't believe how good Diva sounded. I could see it being my 90% in many of my tracks. I really liked two things about it: the depth & the sound. I've been using the demo for a good 2 months and it was the only u-he product I had ever tried. But just about 3 days ago I purchased Zebra 2. I realize I'm a bit behind the times here.
